“Azpetrol” Company Expands Its Network of Filling Stations to 109.
“Azpetrol”, the company with the largest network of filling stations in Azerbaijan, in accordance with its strategic development plan, and taking into account the growing demand and numerous proposals, has put into operation the “Azpetrol” Ganja Center-2 filling station on August 25 at 96 Shah Ismayil Khatai Avenue, Kapaz District, Ganja city. Thus, the number of “Azpetrol” filling stations has reached 109.
It should be reminded that the very first “Azpetrol” filling station – “Spartak” – was opened on July 15, 1997, in Baku, Nasimi District, Moscow Avenue, block 1013.
At present, the company operates 109 filling stations equipped with the most modern equipment covering most of the economic zones of Azerbaijan, 1 liquefied gas (propane-butane) station, 1 compressed natural gas (CNG) terminal meeting the highest standards and serving passenger transport in public transportation, 3 oil depots for the storage of fuel products, a motor depot for fuel trucks, 143 fuel tank trucks ensuring uninterrupted fuel delivery to filling stations, as well as a motor fleet for passenger cars.
The operating filling stations also include 4 compressed natural gas filling posts, 4 liquefied gas filling posts, and 24 charging posts for electric vehicles, along with 1 hotel, 8 motels, and, at most stations, catering facilities (cafés, car washes, and markets) providing various services. It is especially important to emphasize that “Azpetrol” is one of the largest employers in Azerbaijan. Currently, the total number of employees working in the company is close to 4,000 people. “Azpetrol” is constantly developing, increasing both the quality and the range of the services it provides.
