“Azpetrol” company, which has the largest petrol network in Azerbaijan, put into operation its first petrol station in Karabakh land liberated from occupation according to the strategic development plan on August 18, 2022. The 94th and the first mobile (module) petrol station are located in the territory of Aghali village of Zangilan region. The sale of AI-92, AI-95 and diesel fuel will be carried out in a new petrol station. So, “Azpetrol” Company ensured the opening of 5 new workplaces in the territory of Karabakh. Jeyhun Mammadov, General Director of “Azpetrol” Company, company employees and employees of the Special Representative Office of the President in the Zangilan region participated in the opening ceremony of petrol station. “Spartak”, the first petrol station of “Azpetrol” Company was opened in the address of block 1013, Moskva avenue, Nasimi district, Baku city on July 15, 1997. At present, "Azpetrol" Company has a total of 94 petrol stations, 2 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling stations (propane-butane) in most economic zones of our country, 1 compressed natural gas (CNG) terminal serving passenger transportation in public transport and meeting the most modern standards in the republic, 3 oil depots for storage of fuel products, a truck fleet for fuel trucks, 100 fuel trucks for ensuring uninterrupted transportation of fuel to petrol stations and a car park for cars. Petrol stations are currently operating 4 compressed natural gas filling stations, 3 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling stations and 17 electric vehicle charging stations, 8 motels, as well as catering facilities (cafe, car wash, market) in most stations for the provision of various services.
