The sale of CNG has started at 4 Stations of “Azpetrol”

11.07.2020

It has started the sale of CNG at “Babak” gas filling station of “Azpetrol” company from March 19, 2020, at “Mardakan” GFS on July 8, at “Mayak” GFS on July 10, at “Masazir” petrol station on July 11. We would like to inform our customers that the selling price of STG (Compressed Natural Gas - CNG) motor fuel is 0.45 manat per cubic meter. We note that CNG motor fuel fully meets the requirements of Euro-6 environmental and GOST 27577-2000 “Compressed natural gas used in internal combustion engines” standards. A coalition-type Filter-Separator has been installed at the GFS to treat mechanical impurities, various condensates and free water in the natural gas entering the GFS. At the same time, gas dryers having high indicators have been installed at the GFS to dry the water vapor in the composition of gas. To control the moisture degree of the gas, the inlet and outlet lines of each dryer are completed with sensors that measure the dew point of water vapor in the composition of gas. Due to this, the degree of moisture of the gas will be constantly monitored. Installing of a Gas Dryer at the stations will have the following benefits for drivers: 1. There will be no freezing circumstances during the filling of CNG into the fuel tank of cars, the filling speed will increase and the operation will be completed faster; 2. Freezing water formed in freezing circumstances is not transferred to the engine through the fuel tank, which does not cause the engine to corrode. A Gas Cooler (Chiller) has been installed at the GFS to cool the CNG, which rises a temperature during technological processes. The temperature will be stable when filling the cars with cooled CNG by the chiller. It should be noted that the geography of cars running with a CNG is gradually expanding. Because currently the most reliable, environmentally friendly type of all available fuels is considered CNG. CNG is obtained by compressing natural gas coming from the pipeline transportation at the compressor station, equivalent to a pressure of 200-250 bar (196-245 kg/cm2) for use as fuel in internal combustion engines. It should be noted that the installation of CNG equipment at “Azpetrol” stations is carried out by the Italian “SAFE” company.
